ABOUT
Behind ACT, there is anger.
Not a market study. Not a strategic pivot. Not an opportunity identified in a VC deck.
Anger.
From someone who spent twenty years building things in digital. Art direction, marketing direction, communications direction, entrepreneurship. Someone who eventually understood something no one says out loud:
The world of intellectual work has become a massive simulation machine.
The observation that drives you mad
I've led teams. Managed budgets. Briefed agencies. Hired contractors. Signed five-figure quotes.
And here's what I saw.
Contractors who don't care. Who bill by time spent, not by result delivered. Who send a sloppy first draft hoping you won't check.
Companies that confuse expensive with good. Who pay €90,000 a year for a marketing director who produces three PowerPoints and two meetings a week.
Clients who don't know what they're buying. Who pay for a “digital strategy” and receive a 30-page PDF filled with empty words.
We built an entire economy on a lie: perceived value replaced real value.
What Aristotle already knew
2,400 years ago, Aristotle drew a distinction that the modern world chose to forget.
Use value. What something actually does. And exchange value. What you can get for it on a market, regardless of what it actually does.
The entire economy of intellectual services shifted to the wrong side. We no longer sell what it does. We sell what it looks like it does.
This system drives me mad. Not because it's unfair. Because it's fragile. Because it only holds as long as no one can prove that an identical result costs a hundred times less.
That day has arrived.
What set me in motion
In 2024, I started using LLMs seriously. Not as a toy. As a production tool.
First: phenomenal power that almost no one uses. People type a question into ChatGPT, read the answer, move on. It's like using a fighter jet to go buy bread.
Second: models that make things up with terrifying confidence. LLMs hallucinate. They invent sources. They state falsehoods with authority. We put in millions of people's hands a tool that lies elegantly, and call it progress.
That's where ACT was born. Not in an incubator. In anger.
What I'm building and why
ACT is not another AI startup. ACT is a response to four problems I refuse to accept.
The waste.
Companies paying fortunes in payroll for work that orchestrated systems can execute at a fraction of the cost. Not worse. Often better.
The simulation.
Contractors selling air, agencies billing for form. ACT doesn't promise. ACT proves. Every action timestamped. Every deliverable inspectable.
The inaccessibility.
Freelancers, SMBs, solo founders who can't afford what large companies buy without thinking. ACT gives anyone the power of a structured company. For $199/month. A political choice. Owned.
The lie.
AI tools that say anything. ACT has a simple standard: if it's not proven, it's not done.
Who I am
Jean-Philippe S.
Twenty years between art direction, marketing direction, communications direction, and entrepreneurship. Not an AI profile. An execution profile. Someone who shipped. Campaigns, brands, products, teams, companies.
ACT wasn't born from a fascination with technology. It was born from a frustration with intellectual work. Technology is the means. The goal is that quality becomes the standard again, not the luxury.
GreenEris
ACT is a GreenEris project. greeneris.io.
GreenEris exists to build systems that make operational power accessible to everyone. Not the best funded. Not the best connected. Everyone.
What we believe
Real value beats perceived value.
Always. In the end. Even if the market takes time to realize.
Proof beats promise.
A timestamped log is worth more than a thousand presentation slides.
Access beats privilege.
The solo deserves the same tool as the enterprise. Not a lite version. The same.
Quality beats margin.
If the only goal is profit, you end up delivering emptiness. We refuse that path.
Anger is a legitimate engine.
Not hate. Anger. The kind that says: this shouldn't work like this. And builds something else.
We spent fifty years paying people to simulate work. We're building a system that can't simulate. It executes, or it stops. It proves, or it doesn't deliver. That's it.
Said. Done. Proven.
